We are looking for a Regulatory Associate to join the Inbiose team in Ghent, Belgium.
Belgium-based Inbiose develops biotechnological processes using the proprietary Glycoactives platform to produce specialty carbohydrates such as human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). We are committed to make these complex sugars available to a large set of industries such as infant formula, dietary supplements, functional food & beverages, pet food, .... to meet the global demand for healthy and sustainable food and feed ingredients. With many products in various stages of regulatory and sales development Inbiose is poised for high growth in the coming years. The company has been established in 2013 as spin-off from UGent University and has grown into a 50 FTE organisation.

You have a MSc or PhD in Analytical/Food Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
You were involved in the preparation of the regulatory dossiers (e.g. novel food, GRAS)
You have knowledge of analytical method development and method validation
You have organized sample shipment, tracking, follow-up and data gathering
You have experience in writing, optimizing and following protocols and SOPs
You are flexible and a team player, but can work independently
You have an eye for detail, work accurately and aim for qualitative work
You are communicative and have a hands-on approach
You are capable to manage multiple parallel projects
You are fluent in English
Knowledge about complex carbohydrate analytics is a plus
Experience in the field of regulatory affairs is a plus
You will report to Regulatory Affairs Manager, and closely collaborate with the analytical team and the scale-up team
You will manage internal analyses as well as external analyses, develop experiments with partners and build and validate analytical methods
You will follow up and steer external labs for specific analyses and stability studies, ranging from organic, inorganic as well as biochemical and microbial measurements
You will maintain, analyze, organize and report data
You will prepare laboratory materials and samples for external analysis and follow up shipments from start to finish
You will manage and coordinate complex schedules within a broader team
You will manage small & large regulatory projects
You will maintain safe practices and work environment
